About

Hi, I’m Natalia, writer and reader traveling between YA and adult fiction. I currently reside in Sydney, my home city because there’s no place like home. Well, I do want to escape to New York or some place outside Australia.

An English major who has gone through the trenches of internships at a few places where I wrote and promoted stuff. Right now, I’m a bookseller at one of Australia’s largest book chains and a contributor to a film/TV publication where I get to write articles on cool productions. Also I’m in the query trenches while working on newborn stories.

You would normally find me buried under a book, a different one about every two weeks – I’m a fast reader. I got more than one full and heavy bookshelf to prove it.

A writer’s path is not an easy one but with someone on your side, hard work, and a positive and courageous mindset, your dreams can come true.

Happy reading,

Natalia

It sounds as though we love many of the same types of authors πŸ˜€ I absolutely love Austen, the Brontes, Skakespeare and quite a few others (I’m in the midst of reading Dracula now lol). Have you read North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell? It’s very very good! Good luck with your writing! I’m a YA romance/fantasy writer as well so it’s nice to discover someone who writes in the same genre!

Haha, it’s funny that I found Dracula in the Children’s Classie at this bookstore I went to the other day. That was a shock. No, I haven’t read North & South…yet. Aww thank you. I’m glad I’m not alone in the YA area.

Yeah, I definitely wouldn’t have expected to see Dracula in the kid section, lol. And your “yet” regarding North and South sounds very promising, if you need any incentive to read it just watch the mini-series on youtube, it’s fantastic! The actor who plays Mr. Thornton is outrageously handsome, which makes reading the book THAT much more enjoyable lol.
